ROSATO WINES
- Rosato (Ro, RoFr, RoSw, RoFrSw): Any proportions of red grape varieties approved for the region of Sardegna
- Varietals (Ro, RoFr, RoSw, RoFrSw): Minimum 85% of any one of the allowed red grape varieties (Cannonau, Carignano, and Monica are specifically excluded because they have their own DOCs) + OANRG
RED WINES
- Rosso (Rd, RdFr, RdSw, RdFrSw): Any proportions of red grape varieties approved for the region of Sardegna
- Varietals (Rd, RdFr, RdSw, RdFrSw): Minimum 85% of any one of the allowed red grape varieties (Cannonau, Carignano, and Monica are specifically excluded because they have their own DOCs) + OANRG

- Minimum alcohol level: 10.0% for Bianco; 10.5% for Rosato and all frizzante wines; 11.0% for Rosso and Novello
