ROSATO WINES
- Rosato (Ro, RoFr, RoSw, RoFrSw): Any proportions of red grape varieties approved for the region of Sardegna
- Varietals (Ro, RoFr, RoSw, RoFrSw): Minimum 85% of any one of the allowed red grape varieties (Cannonau, Carignano, and Monica are specifically excluded because they have their own DOPs) + OARG
RED WINES

- Minimum alcohol level: 9.0% for Passito (16.0% potential); 10.0% for Bianco; 10.5% for Rosato, all frizzante wines, and all spumanti; 11.0% for Rosso and Novello; 12.0% for da Uve Stramature (15.0% potential)
- Residual sugar: Disciplinare says Spumante wines can be dry to sweet, but probably means any sweetness level, from brut nature (zero dosage) to dolce
