- Minimum alcohol level: 11.0% for Spumante; 11.5% for Rosso
- Residual sugar: Maximum 15 g/l (1.5%) for Rosso; 17–35 g/l (1.7–3.5%) for Spumante secco; minimum 50 g/l (5.0%) for Spumante dolce
- Aging: No minimums specified
