Significant Production Rules:
- Spumante is fermented in pressurized tanks or autoclaves (Charmat/Martinotti method)
- Minimum alcohol level: 11.0% for Rosso and Spumante; 11.5% for Superiore
- Residual sugar: Spumante may range from extra dry to abboccato (demisec)
- Aging: For Superiore, minimum 1 year (ERD = November 1, V+1)
