Significant Production Rules:
- Vineyard elevation: Minimum 200 m (660 ft); maximum 700 m (2,300 ft)
- Spumante must undergo second fermentation in bottles
- Minimum alcohol level: 12.5%
- Residual sugar: Maximum 10 g/l (1.0%) for Rosso; Spumante may be brut or extra dry
- Aging: For Rosso, minimum approx. 9–10 months (ERD = September 1, V+1); for Spumante, minimum 9 months (ERD approx. August 1, V+1);
