Significant Production Rules:
- Maximum vineyard elevation: 600 m (1,970 ft)
- Grapes for Passito must be dried to achieve a minimum sugar level of 280 g/l (28.0%)
- Minimum alcohol level: 9.0% for Passito (16.0% potential); 9.5% for Rosso (12.0% potential); 15.0% for Liquoroso and Riserva (17.5% potential)
- Aging: For Liquoroso, minimum 6 months from date of fortification (ERD approx. June 1, V+1); for Riserva, minimum 2 years in barrel from date of fortification and 1 year in bottle (ERD approx. December 1, V+3)
