ROSATO WINES
  • Rosato (Ro): Minimum 60% Barbera, Bonarda, Freisa, Nebbiolo, Neretto di Bairo, and/or Uva Rara (locally Bonarda di Cavaglià) + OANG
RED WINES
  • Rosso (Rd): Minimum 60% Barbera, Bonarda, Freisa, Nebbiolo, Neretto di Bairo, and/or Uva Rara + OANG
  • Barbera (Rd): Minimum 85% Barbera + OANRG
  • Nebbiolo (Rd): Minimum 85% Nebbiolo + OANRG
  • Novello (Rosso)
  • Riserva (Rosso)
SPARKLING WINES
  • Spumante (WhSp): 100% Erbaluce
  • Spumante Rosato (RoSp): Minimum 60% Barbera, Bonarda, Freisa, Nebbiolo, Neretto di Bairo, and/or Uva Rara + OANG

  • Vineyard elevation: Minimum 200 m (660 ft); maximum 600 m (1,970 ft)
  • Minimum alcohol level: 10.0% for Bianco; 10.5% for Rosato, Rosso, and Barbera; 11.0% for Nebbiolo, Spumante, and Novello
  • Residual sugar: Spumante may be brut or extra dry
  • Aging: No minimums specified
