- Spumante (WhSp): Minimum 70% Garganega; maximum 30% Trebbiano di Soave and/or Chardonnay; maximum 5% OANWG

- Classico, the historic production area

Significant Production Rules:
- Minimum alcohol level: 10.5% for non-subzone Bianco; 11.0% for Bianco from a subzone and for Spumante
- Residual sugar: Spumante can range from brut to dry
- Aging: For non-subzone Bianco, minimum approx. 2 months (ERD = December 1, V); for Bianco from a subzone, minimum approx. 4 months (ERD = February 1, V+1)
